Some portions are cut but the others are not after cutting

  • Please check the following contents.

Check on the followings.
1. Tool is surely set
The tool may be lifted to generate blur or leave any portion uncut unless it is surely set.

2. Extended length of the blade is appropriate
When the cutter blade is extended too much or less, adjust it to an appropriate length, then always perform a test cutting to check the result.
For a rough guide of the extended length of the blade, see "OPERATION MANUAL ."

3. Cutter blade is not chipped or worn out
If the cut surface is fuzzed even after the pressure (PRESS) value is increased, it is time for the blade to be replaced. Replace it with a new one.

4. Check the cutting condition
The tool may be lifted to generate blur or leave any portion uncut unless the cutting condition is appropriate.
For a rough guide of the cutting condition, see "OPERATION MANUAL ."

5. Enable the dummy cutting
The dummy cutting (cutter blade aligning) operation improves the quality at the beginning of cutting.

6. Media is not lifted

The media may be lifted as shown in the photo, due to temperature or humidity.
Check to see if the installation environment meets the specifications.
Particularly on rainy days, media largely expand and contract, resulting in lifting. Use the machine in an environment within the specifications with less changes in temperature and humidity.
