When connecting the MRA to a printer/plotter for the first time
When connecting the MRA to a printer/plotter for the first time, the message ""Remote Access" would like to find and connect to devices on your local network." will appear.
Tap [OK] here.
If you tap [Don't Allow], MRA will not be able to detect the printer/plotter.
Connection can be allowed as follows, even if [Don't Allow] was selected:
- If the printer/plotter does not appear in [New Printer/Plotter] area on the printer/plotter selection screen, please check the following:
No printer/plotter appears in the [New printer/plotter] area.
- Tap [Settings] - [Privacy & Security] - [Local network].
- Tap the MRA switch to turn it on.
- This now allows connection.
- Restart the iPhone if the network connection fails after turning on the MRA switch on the local network.
