Settings and Confirmation Before Installing the Client App (PICT Up)
Set and check the following:
- Turn off sleep mode.
- If the PC has the automatic sleep setting enabled, PICT Up may also be switched to sleep even when processing is in progress.
If the PC goes to sleep, this will prevent logs and parameters from being periodically acquired from the printer.
To turn off sleep mode, from the [Start] menu, select [Settings] - [System] - [Power & sleep], then set [When plugged in, PC goes to sleep after] to [Never].
- Check that no ports are blocked.
- PICT Up uses the following network port:
Reception Port No.: 11112
- Applications will not operate correctly if connections to the above network port are blocked.
Check with the network administrator to confirm that connections to the port are not blocked.
- If new connections to the above port cannot be approved, check the port number to which connections are already approved and change the network port setting accordingly.
For more information, refer to Online Help from the PICT service page.

- At least one port number must always be provided.
- Make sure your PC is connected to the Internet.
- Check the time zone and time settings on the PC.

- Any incorrect time zone or time settings on the PC will be recorded to the dashboard.
