Multilayer Printing - Functions

This function prints multiple layers, utilizing the features of UV ink.
This allows new print styles not achievable with a single layer.

Conditions

Compatible models: UCJV300, UCJV330

Four-layer printing - Day&Night

Jobs are printed as four overlaid layers.
This gives different results depending on whether the sheet is backlit or not backlit.

4-layer printing display_

Five-layer printing

Jobs are printed as five overlaid layers.
This gives different results for a single media sheet depending on whether it is viewed from the front or the rear.

5-layer printing display_

 

Three-layer printing - Watermark printing (UCJV330)

Jobs are printed as three overlaid layers.
Printing three overlaid layers consisting of the color layer, white ink layer, and clear ink layer makes it possible to produce a printing effect known as "watermark printing" in which the clear ink area is visible through the front when illuminated from behind.
