Rigid Media Placement Printing - Operations

  • Set rigid media on the printer and specify the rigid media size and count in the width direction on the printer panel. (Refer to "Loading Rigid Media" in the Operation Manual of the printer.)
    When the rigid media placement print screen is displayed, the printer automatically acquires the rigid media information and applies it to the screen.
  • If you re-set the rigid media on the printer, or change the size or number of items in the width direction while editing in the [Rigid Media Placement Printing] screen, be sure to click the [Media width update icons] (reload) icon in the preview to retrieve the latest size and number of items in the width direction.
    If you print without clicking the [Media width update icons] (reload) icon, the size or number of items in the width direction of the rigid media may not match, and printing may not be performed at the correct position.
  1. Select the [Rigid Media Edit] check box on the [Rigid Media Placement Editing] Screen.
  • Rigid media placement printing settings can now be configured.

Enlarge or reduce the job

  1. Sets [Scan] and [Feed] for the job to be printed.
  • [Scan] and [Feed] can be set as ratios (%) or size.
  • If the [Keep aspect ratio] check box is selected, jobs can be enlarged or reduced while retaining the aspect ratio of the original image.
  • Clicks on the fit button will automatically enlarge or reduce the image to fit the rigid media size.

Rotate jobs

  1. Select the angle to rotate the print job counter-clockwise.
  • With arranged jobs, the [Job List] thumbnails and settings for the jobs selected on the rigid media placement printing preview screen are refreshed.

Reverse jobs

  1. Select the [Mirror] check box in job to be printed.
  • With arranged jobs, the [Job List] thumbnails and settings for the jobs selected on the rigid media placement printing preview screen are refreshed.

Copy a job

  1. Select the copy count for the print job to be copied.
  • With arranged jobs, the [Job List] thumbnails and settings for the jobs selected on the rigid media placement printing preview screen are refreshed.

Print

  1. Click the [Run Icon] icon in the preview.
  • RIP and printing will start using the same settings as the last [Execute] was used.

Reprint

  1. Set the rigid media on the printer, then configure the media size and the number of items in the width direction. (Refer to "Loading Rigid Media" in the Operation Manual of the printer.)
  1. Select the job to print, and click the [Rigid Media Placement Printing icon] (Rigid Media Placement Printing) icon.
  • The [Rigid Media Placement Printing] screen appears.
  • If the [Rigid Media Placement Printing] screen is already open, click the [Media width update icons] (reload) icon in the preview.
