1. Shared and Search Settings

For Windows 7

  1. In the [Control Panel], double-click [Network and Sharing Center].

  1. Click [Change advanced sharing settings].

  1. Change the setting to either [Home or Work] or [Public] according to the network configuration. If a network administrator is present, check with him/her for which setting should be used.
  1. Select [Turn on network discovery] and [Turn on file and printer sharing].

  1. Select [Turn off password protected sharing].
