Select standard (e.g., A4, A3) or user-specified sizes.

[Select]

The mouse cursor changes to an arrow for object selection.

Objects can be manipulated as follows:

  • Click
  • Selects an object.
  • Shift key + clicking
  • Select an object, then hold down the Shift key and click another to select multiple objects.
  • Drag
  • Moves the selected object(s).
  • Dragging on canvas
  • Drag from a point on the canvas free of objects to draw a rectangle. (The start and end points are opposite corners.) All objects overlapping with the rectangle are selected.

 

[Shapes]

Creates a shape object (e.g., circle, triangle, rectangle, polygon, arrow, heart, star).

Select the shape icon to display the shapes that can be selected on the action tool area. Select a shape to place it on the canvas.

 

[Text]

Creates text objects.

Selecting this places a text object on the canvas area.

Creates image objects.

  • Select to open the file selection dialog box and import files in standard image formats.
  • JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, and GIF format images can be imported.

 

[Zoom In]/[Zoom Out]

Enlarges or reduces the canvas area in 25% increments or decrements.

  • The zoom range is 15% to 1,000%.
  • The default mouse cursor is the zoom-in icon. Press the [Alt] key to change this to the zoom-out icon.
  • Click a point with the zoom icon to zoom in or out centered on that point.
  • Drag using the zoom-in icon to enlarge the selected area to fit the current display area.

 

[Scroll]

Moves the screen to any position.

  • Select the icon to change the mouse cursor to a Hand cursor.
  • Click with the Hand cursor to turn the cursor to a Clenched Hand.
    Move the mouse with this cursor to shift the canvas.
