Color setting functions
These functions specify the colors used for arranged objects.
Select [Fill] or [Stroke] to display a color patch dialog box for selecting the colors to be used for the object.
[Pattern] can also be selected for filling.
Available color settings
The following color settings are available for the different types of objects:

Shape objects | Fill and stroke |
Text objects | Fill only |
Image objects | Stroke only |

- The color patches offer a selection of seven colors, each with five levels of saturation, as well as white and none.
Advanced settings
Click [Detail] to display a more detailed color picker.

Colors can be specified in any of the following ways:
- By moving the slide bar
- By directly entering RGB values (in the range 0 to 255)
- By directly entering Hex values (as a six-character text string using 0 to f)
- Using the eyedropper tool
Storing and selecting patterns
Frequently used patterns can be stored and loaded.
- Select a shape, then click [Fill] on the attribute editing bar.
- The color patch dialog box appears.
- Click [Pattern].
- The pattern selection dialog box appears.
- Click [Add], then select the image to be used as a pattern.
- The image is stored as a pattern.

- JPEG, PNG, BMP, and GIF format images can be imported.
- Set the size, then click [Apply].
- The pattern is applied to the shape.

Color selection using the eyedropper
The fill or stroke color of objects for which colors can be set can be replaced with colors selected using the eyedropper at a specified area.
- The color visible in the foreground will be selected.
- If a transparent object is located in the foreground, the color visible behind it will be selected.
- For image objects and objects filled using a pattern, the color at the specific point will be selected.
- Select a shape or text on the canvas area.
- Click [Fill] or [Stroke] on the attribute editing bar.
- The color patch dialog box appears.
- Click the eyedropper icon.
- The mouse pointer becomes an eyedropper.
- Click on a point on a shape or text with the desired color.
- The fill or stroke color of the selected shape or text changes to the color picked up using the eyedropper.
- The mouse pointer reverts to the normal pointer.

- The eyedropper function cannot be used with images or grouped objects.
