4. Attribute editing bar
Displays the attributes for the object selected on the canvas area, and allows the attributes to be edited directly.
When a shape is selected:
No. | Item | Brief description |
---|---|---|
1 | Color | Selects fill and border colors. You can import image data to fill patterns. |
2 | Position | Displays the X and Y coordinates of the center of the selected shape. The origin is the bottom left corner of the paper area. |
3 | Size | Displays the size of the shape in the X and Y directions. Click the padlock icon to change the size without maintaining the aspect ratio. |
4 | [Rotate] | Click and drag the handle at the bottom of the selected shape to vary the rotation angle. |
5 | [Width] | Sets the line width for shapes and images. |
6 | [Cap/Joint] |
|
7 | [Gradient] | Select two or more colors to generate a color gradient for filling the shape. The gradient is linear. |
8 | [Extract Frame] | Extracts the outline of a shape object. Details |

- If increasing the line width distorts the shape, try enlarging the object or changing the joint method.
When an image is selected:
No. | Item | Brief description |
---|---|---|

2 | Position | Displays the X and Y coordinates of the center of the selected image. The origin is the bottom left corner of the paper area. |

4 | [Rotate] | Click and drag the handle at the bottom of the selected image to vary the rotation angle. |
5 | [Width] | Sets the line width for shapes and images. |
6 | [Cap/Joint] |
|
7 | [Adjustments] | Opens a dialog box for adjusting image brightness and contrast. |

When text is selected:
No. | Item | Brief description |
---|---|---|
1 | Color | Selects the fill color. |
2 | Position | Displays the X and Y coordinates of the center of the selected text. The origin is the bottom left corner of the paper area. |
3 | Size | Displays the size of the text in the X and Y directions. Click the padlock icon to change the size without maintaining the same aspect ratio. |
4 | [Rotate] | Click and drag the handle at the bottom of the selected text to vary the rotation angle. |
5 | Font | Displays font information. The following variables can be edited:
|
6 | [Arc] | Arranges text along an arc. Use the slide bar to modify the curve of the arc. |
7 | [Align] | The following alignment operations are available for objects consisting of multiple lines of text:
|
8 | [Split to Letters] | Divides text into individual characters. |
9 | [Convert to Shapes] | Converts text into shapes. The shapes will be grouped following conversion. |

- Justifying may not be applied correctly depending on the combination of text and font.

- With some fonts, the text area and display position may be misaligned.
To align the position with other objects, for example using [Align Top], use [Convert to Shapes] before positioning it.

- If objects other than text objects are selected or if multiple text objects are selected
- If the text object contains characters for which no corresponding glyphs exist.

- Each character is converted into a single shape.
- If the text consists of two or more characters, the multiple shapes created after conversion will be grouped together.
- Empty characters (e.g., spaces, tabs, and line breaks) are not converted into shapes.
However, the layout of the characters will retain the same layout as in the original text (line breaks and spaces) after they are converted into shapes. - The sequence in which converted shapes overlap will be the same as for the text objects before conversion.
- The fill color of converted shapes will be the same as for the text objects before conversion.
- The outline of the converted shapes will be transparent.
When multiple objects are selected
- When only shapes are selected
- When a mixture of images and shapes are selected
- When one image and one shape is selected
[Unite]
Combines multiple selected shapes.

- Shapes that have been combined cannot be uncombined after you save the design.
- Objects cannot be combined if they include objects other than shapes (text, images, variable data) or objects that have been grouped.

- The color for the combined shapes is based on both the fill and outline color of the shape in the foreground.
[Extract Frame]
Extracts the outline of a shape object.
The following parameters can be set:
- [Offset (mm)]
- Sets the distance from the shape outline. Setting a negative value creates an outline inside the shape.
- [Joins]
- Select [Miter], [Bevel], or [Round].
- [Miter Limit]
- Sets the miter limit when [Miter] is selected.
The function can be applied to the following objects:
- Shape objects
- Image objects
- Multiple selected objects not containing any text
- Groups containing no text
- Objects in which an image is clipped by a shape
- Extracts the outline of the clipped shape.

- The function cannot be used if the multiple objects selected include text.

- If the frame extraction results consist of multiple shapes, these will be grouped together.

- The frame extraction results with miter settings may not be as expected. Try altering the offset or miter limit before reapplying.
- If the frame shape becomes distorted, try altering the join shape and miter limit.
[Clipping]
If you select one shape and one image, the shape is used to clip (mask) the image.
