  • Enable the check box for [Use] in the first column to print that row.
  • [Copies] in the second column specifies the number of times the information in that row is repeated.
  • For information on variable printing specifications, refer to 1. Creating variable data.

Create and edit the design

Create the desired design on the Canvas screen.
For information on creating designs, refer to Design Creation/Editing Functions.

Arrange the variable frame

Place the variable frame on the design, then associate it with the variable data to create variable print data.

Variable frames are available in the form of "Variable text frame" for inserting text and "Variable image frame" for inserting images.

  • Variable text frame
  • This is the frame used for arranging the text information of variable data on the canvas.
  • It allows parameters such as font, font size, style, color, left justification, center justification, and right justification to be set.
  • Even if the inserted text string is longer than the frame, the font size set will not be automatically adjusted. Any parts overflowing outside the frame will not be displayed.
Adjust font size and frame size beforehand to ensure the text does not overflow outside the frame.
  • Variable image frame
  • Frame used for arranging the image information of variable data on the canvas.
  • Only rectangular frames can be used.
  • Images that can be inserted are in JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, and GIF format
  • "No Image" will be displayed if no image data exists at the folder path specified for the variable data.
When landscape (or portrait) images are inserted into a portrait (or landscape) variable frame
  • The size will be adjusted automatically while maintaining the aspect to ensure that the longer side of the inserted image fits the variable frame.
