What is the half cut?

  • Here is the description of the half cut setting in the APC.

To manufacture pattern papers, the APC makes its cut line dotted, which is alternately cut out and left not cut out.

For a cut pattern to be removed cleanly, portions to be left not cut out (HALF LENGTH) are also cut on the surface by an extremely light pressure. A pattern is likely to come off during cutting if the pressure on the portions to be left uncut (HALF PRESS) is too large, the portions to be left not cut out (HALF LENGTH) are too short, or the portions to be cut out (CUT LENGTH) are too long.

For a rough guide of the cutting condition, see "OPERATION MANUAL ."

For how to set the half cutting condition, see "About Tool Condition" in "OPERATION MANUAL ."
