Motor alarm/overcurrent occurred

  • The motor feeding the media (motor A) and the motor moving the pen and the cutter blade from side to side (motor B) have an excessive load, resulting in the error.

1. If "ERR40 MOTOR A" or "ERR42 A CURRENT" is displayed, check on the followings.

1) Media meets the specifications
Make sure the media weight, thickness, and width meets the specifications. Using other media may result in unstable feeding.

2) When heavy media is used
Select [SHEET TYPE] - [HEAVY].

3) When paper is jammed
