Set favorites

  1. Sets the favorite settings to be applied when original image data is imported.
  • For more information on how to set favorites, refer to Favorite.

Start [Auto Execution]

  1. Select [Environments] - [Option].
  • The [Option] dialog appears.
  1. Select the [Auto Execution] tab in the [Option] dialog
  1. Set [Execute condition].
  • Jobs that are awaiting printing (with light blue backgrounds) cannot be edited. If you wish to edit such jobs, first stop auto execution.
  • [Arranged print]:
    Jobs are held until any of the following the conditions is met, and are then arranged and printed using the minimize alignment mode.

    ・ [By Number of jobs]
    When this is selected, printing starts once the specified number of jobs has been imported.

    ・ [By Paper length(only for roll to roll)] (With roll-to-roll printers)
    When this is selected with a roll-to-roll printer, the imported jobs are arranged using the minimum area, and printing starts once the specified length has been reached. For more information, refer to the With [Arranged print] Selected Tips.

    ・ [By Printable area full (only for flat printer)]
    When this is selected with a flatbed printer, the imported jobs are arranged using the minimum area, and printing starts when the arranged job exceeds the print area set in the favorite setting.

    ・ [Space]
    Sets the width and feed direction margins, and enables/disables center arrangement for each individual printer.
  • [Individual print]:
    Ripping and printing is executed as soon as image data is imported.
With [Arranged print] Selected
  • If [Arranged print] is selected in [Execute condition] and the [By Paper length(only for roll to roll)] check box is selected, the conditions for starting printing of arranged jobs will be as follows.
    Impose and print diagram_
    (1) Image data is imported and the created jobs are arranged using the Minimize mode.
    (2) Jobs continue to be arranged until the specified length is reached.
    (3) The specified length is exceeded.
    (4) Printing starts except for jobs that exceed the specified length.
    Example 1: If the created job exceeds the specified length as soon as the first image is imported, the process will be as follows.
    Print start condition when the first image exceeds the specified length_
    (1) The specified length is exceeded.
    (2) The next image is imported.
    (3) The job created from the second image is removed and printing starts for the first job only.
The following operations are performed when [Arranged print] is selected:
  • When [By Number of jobs], [By Paper length(only for roll to roll)], and [By Printable area full (only for flat printer)] are all deselected, only ripping will be performed automatically, and arrangement and printing will not be performed automatically.
    To print, stop [Auto Execution], then manually execute printing from the [Execute] menu.
  • Jobs will be arranged using [Minimize], so they may be rotated automatically depending on the size.
  • When multiple favorites are set for the same printer, arranging and printing will be performed for each favorite setting used when the image data was imported.
  • Print jobs and print & cut jobs will be arranged separately.
  1. Sets [Option].
  • [Stop auto-execution if the image exceeds media size]
    Selecting this stops auto execution when a job created from an imported image exceeds the print area.
    ・ With roll-to-roll printers, this occurs when the media width is exceeded.
    ・ With flatbed printers, this occurs when the print area set in the favorite settings is exceeded.
  • [Stop Job Queue if an error occurred during auto-execution]
    Selecting this automatically stops the job queue when an error occurs.
    Subsequent image data importing, ripping, and printing will also be stopped.

  1. Set [Extended function].
  • [Refresh media information]: Used when using Simple POP. For more information, refer to the Simple POP manual.
  1. Select [Environments] menu - [Auto Execution] - [Start].
  • Auto execution restarts.
  • When auto execution is in progress, [Auto executing] is displayed for [Job Queue]. [Job Queue] tab

  1. Import original print data.
  • Printing starts automatically once the execution conditions are met.

    Stop auto execution

    1. Select [Environments] menu - [Auto Execution] - [Stop].
    • Auto execution stops.
    To cancel ripping or printing
    • Execute "Stop Job Queue" [Job Queue] tab.
      Simply selecting [Stop] for [Auto Execution] alone does not cancel ripping or printing.
