We will propose simple and sustainable printing solutions.
TRAPIS, the next-generation textile printing system that we announced to worldwide in March this year, is a revolutionary printing solution that is easy to process and environmentally friendly. The system can print on a wide range of fabrics, including natural fibers, blends, and synthetic fibers, and is expected to play an active role in digital printing applications for home textiles. In addition, TRAPIS requires no pretreatment or washing of fabrics, eliminating the need for wastewater purification facilities and reducing water consumption by approximately 90% compared to conventional textile printing processes. Furthermore, the ZDHC MRSL Lv.3* compliant ink is safe for workers and environmentally friendly, and will be accepted in the interior design, activewear, and fashion industries.

MRSL…Manufacturing Restricted Substance List: List of substances whose intentional use is prohibited in the processing of chemicals in the textile, apparel, and footwear industries. Level 3 is the highest standard and is satisfied after on-site audits at the product's manufacturing facility.
TRAPIS is a compact and simple system consisting of our inkjet printer, dedicated transfer paper, dedicated pigment ink, and a dedicated transfer machine manufactured by a European manufacturer recommended by us, capable of high-definition printing. It is a solution that makes textile printing more accessible to print businesses around the world. It does not require specialized knowledge of textile printing or extensive system maintenance and enables on-demand production of a wide variety of products in small lots while ensuring a high level of safety.
Mimaki launched the Mimaki Global "TRAPIS" roadshow worldwide in October of this year. So far, Mimaki has held the TRAPIS trial shows in the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and Japan to propose applications for the textile and apparel market in each country where the shows are held. In addition to exhibiting the system and finished products, we will provide customers with the experience of textile printing on their own fabrics on the spot.
