Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head office: Tomi-shi, Nagano, Pref.; President: Kazuaki Ikeda) will exhibit its next-generation textile printing system "TRAPIS" at the textile exhibitions "Texworld NYC" (July 23-25) and " Texworld Paris" (September 15-17).
1. Background of the exhibition
"TRAPIS" is a simple and versatile textile printing system consisting of our inkjet printer, textile printing pigment ink, dedicated transfer paper and recommended transfer machine (Figure 1). Printing and transfer are the only two steps required to print on a wide range of fabrics, including natural fibers, blended materials, and synthetic fibers. No specialized skills or knowledge are required, and even beginners can operate the system easily (Figure 2).
We have held experience events of this innovative system at various locations around the world, where visitors have been able to experience the new possibilities for their businesses by printing on fabrics they bring in on the spot.
2. Details of Exhibition
We are pleased to announce that we will offer a digital printing experience with TRAPIS at the exhibitions in NY and Paris, the frontrunners in fashion and distribution. Based on the concept of "easy printing on a variety of fabrics," we will introduce the appeal of TRAPIS, which enables on-demand textile printing of a wide variety of products in a short time and in small quantities, even in a limited space, to a wide range of industry professionals, including manufacturers, designers, and retailers.
In addition, interior fabrics and fashion apparel produced with TRAPIS and their case studies will also be exhibited to offer new options for customers' textile printing business.
