Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. (President: Hisayuki Kobayashi), a leading manufacturer of wide format inkjet printers and cutting plotters, established a new sales subsidiary in Sydney, Australia on April 1, 2013 which will begin operation starting August, 2013. With the establishment of a new subsidiary in Australia, it is Mimaki’s intention to expand upon its presence and strengthen its sales network to provide superior customer service.
In Australia, Mimaki has for a long time sold its products partnering with local distributors and will continue to do so. By establishing the wholly owned new subsidiary in Sydney, Mimaki will further strengthen its position in Australia’s Southeastern area including major cities such as Sydney and Melbourne. The new operations are a sign of Mimaki’s commitment to the Australian industry, their customers and their desire to provide the best after-sales service and support.
