Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head office: Tomi-shi, Nagano, Pref.; President: Kazuaki Ikeda), specializing in industrial inkjet printers, cutting plotters and 3D printers, is to announce its addition of the CJV200-160B print & cut MFP and the JV200-160B printer to our CJV200 series, a new lineup for emerging countries* that we announced in October last year. This product will be exhibited at the APPP EXPO (venue/Shanghai, China) to be held from March 4, 2025, and will present the high expressive power and high-cost performance of the Mimaki brand to visitors.

Our CJV200 series has been well received by customers around the world for its overwhelmingly high image quality and ease of use, even among entry-level models. By adding the CJV200-160B and JV200-160B models, which can be equipped with our CS250 eco-solvent ink bottle that achieves low running costs for emerging countries, we are reinforcing our product lineup and making our proud high image quality available to a wider range of countries, including developing regions with strong demand for advertising signs, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the Sign Graphics (SG) market. The CJV200 series offers the expressive power and operability of the CJV200 series with high-cost performance, making Mimaki prints more accessible and beautifully decorating the graphics market in emerging countries.
The CJV200-160B and JV200-160B are scheduled to go on sale in April 2025.

Main features of CJV200-160B / JV200-160B
1. Beautiful printing
The CJV200B and JV200B are entry model printers equipped with a single print head from our flagship "330 Series" graphic printer. The CJV200B and JV200B offer outstanding image quality, with a minimum 3-pl dot size for finely detailed photographic expression, solid color expression that appeals to the viewer, and fine lines that faithfully reproduce fine lines and text.
2. Reliable even during busy periods. Highest practical print speed of 17.0 m²/h at the entry level
The practical print speed of 17.0 sqm/h is achieved, one of the highest among our entry-level SG printers. High productivity that can respond to sudden demand for print output allows for reliable output even during busy periods.
3. Simple design for easy use
The single head for easy maintenance, a cover that opens widely for easy operation, and an upward-facing control panel that is easy to view, all contribute to a simple design that is easy to use for first-time printer operators. The "Ink Save Function," which reduces ink consumption in five levels depending on the application, and the newly developed "Simple Create" design software for easy creation of print and cut data are also included as standard features, allowing anyone to use the printer without stress.
4. Functions for peace of mind in case of emergency
Our unique "Nozzle Recovery" function comes standard. Even if cleaning does not correct a missing nozzle or other problem, printing can continue with productivity maintained without waiting for service engineer. In addition, a sensor is equipped to prevent contact with or damage to the print head due to mis-placement of the print substrate, allowing novice operators to operate with peace of mind.
