Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head office: Tomi-shi, Nagano, Pref.; President: Kazuaki Ikeda), specializing in industrial inkjet printers, cutting plotters and 3D printers, announces the release of the Roll-to-Roll printer “JV200-160/-130” with Eco-solvent ink. This model will be exhibited for the first time in the world at the ISA International Sign Expo 2025 (Las Vegas, USA) to be held from April 23, 2025.

Our CJV200 series of print & cut MFPs, which pursue high image quality and operability, has been highly evaluated by customers for its overwhelmingly beautiful print quality and entry-class top-level productivity since its launch in October last year. The JV200-160/-130 models will be added to the lineup as print-only models and targeted at the sign graphics market, so that more customers can experience the image quality and productivity of the CJV200 and the ease of operation that enables them to obtain high image quality. Production companies that already own cutting machines for post-print processing will be able to experience the high print quality and the latest productivity-enhancing functions of our entry-level model while maintaining their current workflow.

1. Beautiful printing. The single print head of Mimaki's flagship "330 Engine" printer delivers high image quality.
2. Reliable even during busy periods. Highest entry-level practical print speed of 17.0 m²/h.
3. Simple design that is easy for anyone to use. Easy to work with, easy to check, and easy to maintain.
4. Compatible with our new ink "SS22," which reduces odor by approximately 40%^*1 and does not contain GBL^*2, the use of which has been increasingly regulated around the world in recent years. The industry-leading outdoor weather resistance keeps printed materials vividly colored, while taking operators and the global environment into consideration.

   *2: GBL: Gamma-Butyrolactone (substance). A type of organic solvent. It is generally added as a material that constitutes ink in conventional solvent printers of our company and other companies.

Key features that support easy operation and high quality print output

1. "Ink saving function" that reduces ink costs with just two simple clicks while maintaining natural color
2. Automatic media adjustment function (DAS; Dot Adjustment System) for easy and accurate pre-print adjustment
3. The newly developed design software "Simple Create," which is easy to operate and can easily create designs even for beginners, is included as a standard in the product
4. "Nozzle recovery" function that does not stop working even when the print head nozzle is malfunctioning
5. "PICT," a cloud service that allows users to check printer availability anytime, anywhere

The JV200-160/-130 will be available in two sizes to suit customers' applications and is scheduled to go on sale in late April 2025. The 200 series is expected to sell approximately 2,400 units per year (total of CJV200 and JV200, worldwide), mainly for the sign graphics market.
