About this tool
This tool is intended to download "Mimaki Profile MasterII v4.40 Update Installer".
How to use
- Click [Download] button on the bottom of this page to download "download tool".
* [Security Warning] dialog is shown. Click "Save" and select the suitable folder. - Double click "MPMII_v4.40_Download_Tool.exe".
The dialog of download tool will be displayed. Click "Download" to start downloading the update installer.- If you use proxy server, click [Proxy setting] and set proxy server information before download.
- This download tool has a resume function of download.In case you clicked "Abort" or the connection was disconnected in the middle of downloading, the resume function will work at the next execution.
You can resume the download only by clicking "Download" button.
- When download is completed, [Download is complete] dialog is displayed.
Click "OK" and "Select folder" dialog is displayed. Select a folder to save the update installer.
Install / Update
Unpack downloaded file
Double click the downloaded update installer. "MPMIIv440" folder will be created on root folder and the software modules for update will be unpacked in same folder. And "Installation menu" dialog will be displayed automatically.
Install/ Update
- Click "Install" button on "installation menu" dialog.
- Install Mimaki Profile MasterII v4.40 according to installation wizard.

"Feed Direction" setting is added to [Media character setting] when you select the following printers and inksets:

Fixed bugs
The following bugs are fixed:
- When performing test print with selecting the color set of profile which is included Orange and Green ink, in case of perform output with selecting “8bit” in the [Editing image] -> [Color matching] -> [Rendering], MPMII will be shut down automatically.

“8bit” cannot be selected in [Rendering] in case of selecting the color set of profile which is included Orange and Green ink.
Note on profile creation with Orange and Green ink.
- Since output by gray balance is inapplicable, it is impossible to test printing before creating ICC profile.
- Calibration and equalization is also inapplicable.
- The measurement device is applicable to only i1Pro/Pro2 and i1IO/IO2.
Restrictions on profile format by printers
- The following printers are only allowed to create and edit V3 profile:
CJV300, CJV150, JV300, JV150, JV400-LX, JV400-SUV, JFX500, UJV500, TS500, Tx500, JFX200, SIJ-320UV, TS300P, TS500
- The following inks are only allowed to create and edit V3 profile.

- This software must not be transferred, licensed or resold to the third party or transferred, licensed or purchased from it by rental or false rental activity.
- This software must not be transferred or licensed to the third party or purchased from it as secondhand goods.
Article 3 Limitation of Warranty
- It is not warranted that functions contained in this software suit the intended use of the customer.
- This software should be selected and introduced in the customer’s responsibility: any damage in installing this software in the computer’s hard disk and the plotter’s memory is not covered.
- We accept no responsibility for any results of the use of this software (including lost earnings or profits).
Article 4 Term of Validity
- The term of validity of this agreement starts when the customer installs this software.
- When the customer decides to stop using this software, this agreement is automatically terminated.
- This agreement is terminated immediately, without our notice, if the customer does not follow any clause of this agreement. If this agreement terminates, the whole of this software must be deleted.
