Procedure of F/W upgrade
FW VersionUpdater is performed in the following step.
Operating time of FW update: about 15 minutes *Except downloading time
The procedure is different depending on Internet connection environment.
1. When PC connected with the printer hooks up to the Internet
STEP1 Get the download tool
- Click [DOWNLOAD] below to download the download tool.
STEP2 Run the download tool
- Double-click the download tool, and click [Download] button.The FW VersionUpdater installer is downloaded.
STEP3 Run the FW VersionUpdater installer
- Double-click the FW VersionUpdater installer, and install the FW VersionUpdater.
STEP4 Run the FW VersionUpdater
- Double-click the FW VersionUpdater, and update FW version.
2. When PC connected with the printer doesn't hook up to the Internet
STEP1 Get the download tool
- Click [DOWNLOAD] below to download the download tool.
STEP2 Run the download tool
- Double-click the download tool, and click [Download] button.The FW VersionUpdater installer is downloaded.
STEP3 Copy the FW VersionUpdater installer
- Copy the FW VersionUpdater installer into the printer connection PC.
STEP4 Run the FW VersionUpdater installer
- Double-click the FW VersionUpdater installer, and install the FW VersionUpdater.
STEP5 Run the FW VersionUpdater
- Double-click the FW VersionUpdater , and update FW version.
Notes
*1. When FW VersionUpdater is installed, restarting PC is required. Please run the installer after closing the activated application.
*2. Approx. 100MB capacity is required for the installation PC.
*3. Please uninstall download tool and FW VersionUpdater after finishing the version update FW.

- This software should be selected and introduced in the customer’s responsibility: any damage in installing this software in the computer’s hard disk and the plotter’s memory is not covered.
- We accept no responsibility for any results of the use of this software (including lost earnings or profits).
Article 4 Term of Validity
- The term of validity of this agreement starts when the customer installs this software.
- When the customer decides to stop using this software, this agreement is automatically terminated.
- This agreement is terminated immediately, without our notice, if the customer does not follow any clause of this agreement. If this agreement terminates, the whole of this software must be deleted.
